So far this year I’ve had crab from Safeway and from Murphy’s “(labelled “Trinidad”) and both of them were watery and skinny. Where are YOU getting good crab? Thanks in advance for sharing.

Right off the Jenna Lee on Woodley Island, full of meat, succulent and sweet. Cook it yourself – steam it so it doesn’t get so watery.
Another vote for Jenna Lee! Thank you.
The crab sold at the Crab Shack in the Crescent City Harbor has been full and plump. I believe the crab is from offshore Crescent City.
Thanks. A reason to take a drive to CC!
Had an ok one from Safeway, then an excellent one from Crabby Tom’s, then the next one from Crabby’s was small and watery.
Fortuna! Who knew? Thanks for sharing1
Jenna Lee Woodly Island Marina has great live crab. Just follow the signs and it’s less per pound than the grocery store.
Thanks! That sounds really good.
I had crab from Murphy’s and WinCo and it was good. Try WinCo, or see if anyone I selling them at the Woodley Island Marina. You can also try Mr. Fish.
I always forget about Winco. Actually most of the high-end restaurants around here get their fish from them. Thanks!
