FOURTEEN MONTHS TO GO BEFORE TRUMP GETS HIS COMEUPPANCE-OR NOT.  Now he’s CREATING  the Fake News:  FROM BRIAN STELTER IN THE WAPO:

The president spread false info during an emergency situation three times in one day. Then insisted he was right when he was corrected. And he’s still swearing he was right and suggesting news outlets should apologize to him. I believe this example of Trump’s reality distortion field is so egregious that it will be recorded in history books…

FROM GEN MATTIS’ MEMOIR: (in the WAPO)  “If you haven’t read hundreds of books, you are functionally illiterate, and you will be incompetent, because your personal experiences alone aren’t broad enough to sustain you,” Jim Mattis writes in his new memoir, which came out yesterday. “Any commander who claims he is ‘too busy to read’ is going to fill body bags with his troops as he learns the hard way.”

The commander in chief has repeatedly said that he’s too busy to read. “I never have. I’m always busy doing a lot. Now I’m more busy, I guess, than ever before,” President Trump told The Washington Post in 2016.

We haven’t reviewed restaurants lately because we’ve been eating at home a lot.  We’ve had TWO excellent meals at the Ivanhoe and a forgettable meal at the Hana. Not a bad meal,  just totally forgettable.
