AT THE ZOO: one of the benes of a Zoo membership is the nifty Annual Report you get with gorgeous photos of the residents. Did you now that the Zoo had over 92,000 visitors, only half of whom were from Humboldt County? Did you know that the Zoo’s Learning Lab has been named in honor of Jeff and Sharon Lamoree ?? Well-deserved. Everyone should support the Zoo, one of our finest local attractions! Worth it just for the otters!
Now that Our Fake President is stammering through HIS FOURTH VERSION of the assassination story, his incompetence and that of his staff are on full display. There are ten more months of incompetence to get through before we can breathe easy. No one rock any boats.
As to getting off Facebook, I suggest we all go back to My Space.

i have a dummy Facebook page so I can access new Bloom County cartoons, and keep up with Calvin and Hobbs. No other use or purpose. What information I gave when I set it up years ago is fake and my browser has a Facebook container blocker (like an AdBlocker, but for Facebook). When Berkeley Breathed leaves Facebook, so will I. Basically, I never joined, I just wanted access to the “real” comics.
Fair enough. I wonder to what extent Facebook exaggerates its numbers.
