I will SERIOUSLY miss The Vienna Bistro, formerly the Stuf’d Potato. They were one of the two or three best restaurants in town and we’ve lost too many of them. Happy retirement, Helga, and thanks for the memories.

MY FIRST ENCOUNTER WITH FAKE NEWS- or I should say, unmistakably fake news. SA couple of days ago a friend showed me his phone which was carrying a Yahoo News story about the Iranians posting a huge reward for Trump’s head. I didn’t think it sounded real so I started Googling and sure enough it was quickly taken down. BE VIGILANT! We are headed into the dirtiest election in history. 288 days to go!

I ALMOST FEEL SORRY FOR TRUMP. He doesn’t have the intellectual capacity to understand the charges against him so he is reduced to bleating repeatedly about his “perfect” phone call and the “hoax” of which he is a victim. Does he even know that a “hoax” is something that isn’t true? That the 24 indictments left over from Mueller time are REAL and he may soon be sharing a cell block with his fixer, Michael Cohen? He is like an animal locked up in the dark with only sycophants and second-raters in his side. (Check out his legal team- with the exception of Alan Dershowitz there’s not a first -rate mind among them, and Dersh has already excused himself from the heavy lifting. BTW, Michael Wolff ‘s book, Seige, describes Trump summoning AD to the White House, where he inquired if AD would represent him. AD informed Trump that his fee was $1M up front, whereupon he never heard back again. Like all bums, Trump never plays with his own money. ) This man has wreaked so much havoc upon the government that the employees of the National Archives blurred out the anti-Trump signs from photos of the first Me Too march. We are losing our reality and our history because of this big baby. Thanks to Trump and his forsaken buddy Lev Parnas, the people really have to ask, who has more credibility, the President of the United States or a two-bit Russian gangster.? I predict Rudy Giuliani will end up with a prison sentence. Deservedly.
