Is it “Cancel culture” or something more interesting? I’m talking about the unholy blood lust to can our current Gov while he’s still figuring out which drawer he put his pens in. Weren’t any of you around for our LAST recall? The one where we dumped Gray Davis and anded up with Arnie?? Arnie was pretty much our worst governor ever. Poor baby couldn’t stand to spend the night in Sac so he flew home to LA every night.. Gavin Newsom ought to have more sense than with to eat at the French Laundry with everyone gunning for him, but he’s been a surprisingly sensible Governor. I’ll vote for him.

FISH FARMING- Our little experiment with the goldfish has not been without casualties. The black one died right away . We are now going for four, not five fish and things are looking good. The Black Moor is very shy but seems healthy..

MANZANILLA- we must have been the last people in town to check out this place. Every time we wanted to go they were closed. Now they have settled on a breakfast and lunch menu and we were delighted with the takeout we go on Friday. I got a chicken-bacon-pesto san and he got a Cubano which was embellished with what tasted like homemade dill pickles. The fries and the onion rings disappeared quickly and altogether we would try them again.
